Is there a Win 8 mod that lets you hang like a custom banner?

Sorry in advance - I don't know a thing about customizing Win 8 but I love all the tools and themes you make :)

So what I want to do is be able to have like a banner that appears at the top of the screen with an inspiring quote that I manually enter in. I'd like to rotate multiple banners/quotes if possible.

Is there such a thing, or something similar?

Wouldn't be a mod, it would just be an app that runs in the backgrond and pops up "toasts" n the screen.

I'm sure there are, and if you look around on the shareware sites I'm sure you'll find something, all kinds of crap like that has been made in the last 20 years, and as long as it's made for win 95 or newer it should work. might not look pretty, but it'll work.

If you just want something that's displayed when the user logs in you could always use the LegalNoticeCaption and LegalNoticeText settings, gets displayed after login and before being shown the desktop. Add a login script to randomize it if needed. Changed in the registry directly, or can use the interactive logon settings in the group policy editor, either or.

There are apps for Windows 8.x

that allow to rotate the quotes.

Even the quotes can be displayed in the live tiles.
