I have a friend who's asked me to find a replacement battery for their Samsung GS3.

 

Does anyone know of a reputable service based or delivering to the UK for a reasonable price?

Amazon has them....and most everything else.  Would do search there.  In the US, I get several results for batteries from Samsung.

The only thing is the price and the reviews make me thin they're not genuine.

 

A site I would normally use is 4samsung.co.uk, I phoned them and they're stating Samsung is no longer manafacturing this battery. :/

It's a battery. There's no really different from manufacturer to OEM. They make it the same.

 

Edit: look on ebay?

Trying one on eBay. ?10 just seems too cheap. When something seems unbelievable it generally is.

With some things, yes. But as cheap as a new one comes, I'd believe that.

All else fails, or if you are skittish in buying something, contact Samsung directly.  They should be able to direct you to the correct part/place to order the battery from.
