chrisj1968
my laptop has a discrete Nvidia graphics card in it with 3GB Ram. It also has a standard INTEL graphics on it and in my windows update, there's an update for the Intel wddm1.1-1.3 waiting. should I even waste my time downloading this? my better part thinks I needn't screenshot of the update:
Raa
Do the update, they usually give better performance (and issues fixes). You can always rollback this change very easily if there are any issues, which is unlikely.
chrisj1968
Ok updating now. it seems to be a WDDM 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 driver in one it seems.
chrisj1968
Question: Since I upgraded my Intel graphics to WDDM 1.3, how will that have any affect on my Nvidia Geforce 870M?
Martog
Nah it won't, a system with Optimus should auto switch between the two.
