Sir Topham Hatt
How good are Apple at replacing handsets? If I have a phone that is locked to a particular network, and speak to someone at the Apple store about something I believe is a fault, will they just replace it? fusi0n
They will try to repair it, if they are unable too, they will replace for during the first year only. Apple sales all carriers at their stores.. If you don't mind, what is your phone doing/not doing?
tsupersonic
Can you give us more details - What's the issue with the device? How old is the device, etc?
Shadrack
I've never had an issue with Apple replacing a malfunctioning device so long as it was still under warranty. They replaced an iPad 2 for me that had a nasty scratch (not something normally covered by warranty), and more recently they replaced my iPhone 5 because the microphone stopped working (although, I think I know how I ended up breaking it). It was a StraightTalk iPhone 5 so if they have those in stock, they will have your carrier most likely.

I walked into an Apple Store and walked out with a brand new phone in less than 20 minutes. Under warranty.... no AppleCare though.
