Its the great iOS vs Android debate!

As you are coming from Apple, I'd suggest the iPhone 6, the plus is just too big. I personally find using iOS a smoother experience than Android.

iOS is easier to use to the extent of being counter productive for some people. Though this comes at the price of being less secure (IMO) regarding personal data (wouldn't have my employees using them as professional phones, are more personal phones), as well as less versatile regarding customisation. - iPhone 6+

Android is a lot more complicated to use, not necessarily difficult to use though can become convulted with all the settings and things you can change. These phones have a lot more functionality though and can be easy as well. They are very secure in the hands of a knowledgable user, and if you're one the power of customisation is all most unlimited from rewriting the phone to dual booting, - Samsung Note 4

I changed my iPhone5 to iPhone6 about a month ago. I suggest you choosing 6 if you are not the type of person who requests bigger screen. The battery life is always a common failing of smart phones, I think.

I'd stick with the iPhone if your used to it.

I got the 6+, but I found it a bit too large, I loved the larger screen itself, my issue was when using it one handed say txting, I couldn't reach over and get q or w with my thumb if i was holding it properly (i.e. fingers wrapped round to the left side of the phone so I have a good grip).

I could if I moved my fingers from the side to the back, but then always felt like it was going to slide of of my hand, else I had to use it with 2 hands which is annoying if I'm carrying something (laptop, coffee etc...).

Now if you already always use your phone with 2 hands and are happy with that then get the +, or if you have fairly large hands (I think mine are fairly normal size...maybe head to an apple store and see if you can test it out.

So took it back and switched to the 6, much nicer to hold, I'd recommend that.

Agreed with most, that you'd be best off sticking with iPhone, unless there is something that stands out on the Samsung devices that attracts you?

I know a few people who have at one point had a Samsung and they have all switched to something else at the end of that contract, to an iphone or another Andriod device.

IMO if you do want an andriod device, I think there are better ones out there to consider. Nexus 6, Moto x HTC One M8 One (I think M9 is just around the corner).

Do what I did, buy one from each camp. I have an iPhone 6 Plus and a Galaxy Note 3. A quick SIM card swap, and I'm ready to start my day.

Look at Mr Money Bags here^^^

Admittedly I also have 2 phones, but ones a crappy work HTC Desire S.

Does it not get annoying constantly switching? txting someone one night, switching phones and then have half a conversation missing, or hainvg an app that only exisits on 1 ecosystem/buying apps on both app store and google play just to have it on both phones?....

Though I suppose the note is almost a tablet so that's kinda normal...or do you have a tablet as well?

I'll say get an iphone as well, you're already familiar with the ecosystem, and can just resync the new phone

(personally I'm bored android but nothing out there has really seduced me)
