Question
Doli
ok logcat works fine on emulators but on my device(Alcatel Onetouch Fierce 2) its not getting the correct information. My device is sending logs to logcat but the information is lost (time: ?:??, PID: ?, TID: ?, Application: [blank], Tag: ?) so I cant filter out any tags. Im getting logs from other apps but I cant filter anything if there is no app name to filter. I was able to search my app's logs (Text only, no PID, application name, etc..) so its working. The '?' shows up on Eclipse's logcat only, on Android Studio I get no output at all. Eclipse is updated to the newest version (Luna 4.4.1) and so is the ADT plugin. Using "adb logcat" on my device from the command line (Windows 8.1) works fine so im lost on why Eclipse and Android studio are not working on my device.
