LiGhTfast Posted December 19, 2003 Share Posted December 19, 2003 Like I said, when it was originally announced, they did infact mention a PC release.They are extremely touched up, and like I said before, most of the effects are "faked" The reflections are not realtime, (which is a huge performance hit) the cars are relatively low poly (possible because there is no visible damage) and the texturing is designed to fit into the ps2's tiny ammount of memory. However, because Polyphony digital are comprised mainly of ex sega and namco developers, they know how to push hardware, and have excellent art teams. It doesn't feel like crap at all nor does it look like it. It's a simulation game and although it doesn't feel like you're going extremely fast,doesn't mean the game is crap.Every game looks better in replay, being able to see different angles of the car and reflections you don't/can't see when you're playing it because you are looking at the back of the car. :huh: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ji@nBing Posted December 20, 2003 Share Posted December 20, 2003 i would LOVE to see GT for pc. i never played 3. i haven't owned a colsole since the original PS, bit i loved the first one so much. i remember playing it for hours at a time trying to unlock everything. there just aren't any great racing games for the PC and gt would definitely fill a void ( yes, NFS underground was good, but not good enough). sony would make a killing on it if they released it on PC. i really hope they do Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
