nukenorman
I have a galaxy tab 3 8 inch and a Lg g2 phone. Both have the same size usb port. Can I use the same Adapter to charge both so I dont have to use both adapters in my plug in sockets. Or will the one adapter over charge the other etc or blow up. Thanks
HoochieMamma
Use the one with the higher amp rating. Both devices will be fine
nukenorman
I assume the tablet adapter would have the hire amp rating. Wouldn't it make the smaller phone explode or something?
HoochieMamma
No, you're good to go! Tablet one for sure.
Draconian Guppy
IIRC as long as the amp rating is higher there should be no problem, as the charge center, built in the phones SoC, tell the phone how much to draw, if using an underpowered charger, battery will take forever to charge exposing it to heat, thus potentially (after a long time) reducing its lifespan
nukenorman
My phone seemed to get really hot when I used my tablet samsung adapter though. I guess I will try it one more time
