Choose Redeem code to get started. Looks like I was invited to the SMITE beta on Xbox One. Apparently I was invited because I do a lot of the Quest from the Preview Program (didn't know the Quest got you perks) I'm not a MOBA kinda of person, but decided to give the tutorial a try last night. From what I gathered from the Tutorial, SMITE gently eases you into the MOBA genre. Anyone who's ever wanted to try a MOBA type game, but intimidated by League or DOTA may want to consider SMITE The tutorial explains things in easy to understand instructions and then has you try them. The game works well with the Xbox One Controller, considering this was/is primarily a PC game first, where M+KB is usually the norm for MOBA's It's a basic 3 lane MOBA (it's a MOBA, but it still seems somewhat different than the other MOBA's out there) maybe that's because the camera is more 3rd person zoomed out, than the top/down view of say DOTA or League. You have your basic 4 face buttons, then either RT or LT and a face button for other commands and the Bumpers and D-Pad as well. There's a ton of options that initially (for me at least) was a bit intimidating. I think that's what I like most about this game. It hand holds for those who need it (such as me) but there's also something there for the hardcore MOBA players out there.
