I have copied original xp cd, which was work fine, i just one to save another copy of the original xp cd, so i decided to burn the the image using image burn and nero, now the cd wont boot. ( driver not found mscd000,

BUT THIS CD WILL WORK IF USE IN WORKING XP SYSTEM. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM, PLEASE INFORM ME, IS I HAVE TO ADD MSDEX DRIVER TO C DRIVE, IF SO HOW,

1) Stop yelling - you won't get your answer any quicker.

2) When you created the image did you do a partition image creation or copy bit for bit every part of the DVD?

Hello,

 

It sounds like your copy of the original Microsoft Windows XP installation CD was faulty.  I would recommend just deleting it and making another copy of your original Microsoft Windows XP installation CD using ImgBurn.

Either the burnt cd is faulty and missing bootdata that is on XP install disc, or simply the boot priority has HDD boot before CDROM, which would cause DR-DOS to be loaded before CD boot.
