goretsky Supervisor Posted March 15, 2015 Supervisor Share Posted March 15, 2015 Hello, It sounds like your copy of the original Microsoft Windows XP installation CD was faulty. I would recommend just deleting it and making another copy of your original Microsoft Windows XP installation CD using ImgBurn. phisher Posted March 15, 2015 Share Posted March 15, 2015 Either the burnt cd is faulty and missing bootdata that is on XP install disc, or simply the boot priority has HDD boot before CDROM, which would cause DR-DOS to be loaded before CD boot.
