BananaMan
I'll let the picture do the talking. It's been doing this for a while, and I'm having all sorts of other problems too. Themexp.org displays 2 meaningless pictures and thats it, no content - even when other people are reporting it working on MSN, some XP specific programs refusing to install due to my operating system not being XP (eg. Powertoys, StyleXP) I'm probably going to backup valuable data and do the repartition/reformat thing, but anyone has any idea what caused this probably to pop up out of nowhere I'd be interested in knowing because it may prove useful later, that it's just damn quirky! By the way, I'm not having any issues with stability, in fact, everything's going great, except of course this problem. Thanks!
Steven
Are You Using a Legal Copy of XP?
BananaMan
Somewhat. I own a licenced copy of XP Pro, but I am using the corporate patch because activation was really ****ing me off - but I'll probably just go back to my original CD because I don't like to stuff around with not-so-legal things like that. BananaMan
Found the problem. It clicked when I opened Hotmail and it did the fanfare about my browser not being supported by Hotmail - the ad-popup filter program I used also prevented IE from transmitting my system specs when going to any web site. Doink!
PM5K
Glad you figured it out. It has nothing to do with the version or your licensing.
