Can access network drive on one computer but not the other

Recommended Posts

I am running Ubuntu desktop and I have set up a network share using Samba.

I have two computers that are running Windows 8.1.  On on computer the share is working fine, i can view and edit files.  On the second computer it says "you do not have permission to access....".

I think i need to delete the credentials stored on this computer in order to access.

If you have any ideas how to help that would be great.

And what account are you using to access it?  Is the same username that is logged in with password on the windows machines?  Sure you didn't create a guest connection first, etc.

What does the log say on linux box to why you can not access?
