Question
Art_X
As the topic title says I am looking for a DNLA server that will read the embedded metadata I have put into my MKV files, while the scrapers that come with the likes of Plex or KODI do work for main stream films, some of the anime I have does not get picked up.
I have looked high and low to see if there are some good scrappers to pick up this info, but would prefer the information that I put into the MKV, as I found that I often got bad matches and had to manually fix them.
Looking on the Plex forums it says that its not planed to be supported as MKV is not a widely used format (which I call BS on), and from what I could see on the KODI forums it was being looked at back in 2010, but nothing seems to have come of it.
Only other option I have is to either re-rip my whole collection, or demux every single file and re-tag them, neither of which I am liking the thought of doing, if I demux I run the risk of audio desync, aswell as having to convert DTS to AC3 or such as MP4 doesn't support DTS
