Phixion
Hey guys, my uncle has the latest iMac 27", he has a TV connected to it via the thunderbolt (I think?) to HDMI adaptor. The problem is that sometimes when he boots up, the incorrect resolution is being used on both displays. To get it to use the correct resolution I have to uncheck the "mirror" option in display properties - No matter how many times I turn this damn option off it keeps re-enabling on boot. Any ideas? I tried wiping the NVRAM, I tried unplugging/replugging in various orders to try and force it to recognise the correct "order" in which to load the monitors, but no luck. Any help appreciated! Guest
Stupid question is it setup as a mirror, or are you extending it?
Phixion
Sorry I forgot to say, I am extending it. The mirror option just keep enabling on boot, putting both the iMac monitor and the external monitor into some strange resolution that isn't native for either of them.
