Danielx64 Posted October 8, 2015 Share Posted October 8, 2015 Ok, I'm trying to build a reference computer getting it ready to push to a bunch of computer on the network. I started off by doing a clean install of windows 7, with SP1 and I installed the drivers for the LAN controller. Then I went to run windows update, and it keep staying on checking for updates. So far I have:tried clean installTried Windows Update troubleshooterTried the System Update Readiness toolTried cleaning out the SoftwareDistribution folder Have anyone else experience this before? Ian W Posted October 8, 2015 Share Posted October 8, 2015 About a month ago or so another member described a similar issue with Windows Update on Windows Vista (and also Windows 7).
