brads900 Posted January 31, 2016 Share Posted January 31, 2016 i have recently got a new monitor (lg 24m47vq ) and when i boot up my pc after the windows 10 logo boot screen it cannot detect a signal until i restart the pc. does anyone have any idea what may be cuasing this? they are connected by dvi and i didnt have this problem with my last monitor. MorganX Posted January 31, 2016 Share Posted January 31, 2016 Don't know what the cause is, but this recently happened to me with a monitor upgrade. BIOS and initial Windows loading screen show, then Windows blank, though system is clearly running. I went from DP to HDMI. I went back to DP on the new monitor and the problem disappeared.
