It’s not known whether the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of the now Microsoft owned property are also in line for an increase.* One retailer has indicated to MCV that the increases on PS4 and PS3 will likely be absorbed and not passed on to consumers. It’s a different story on Vita, however. Another retailer stated that its prices will be going up on every format, without specifying whether this included Xbox. The price rises may take a little time to come into effect, MCV understands, as many retailers are still selling through lower cost grey stock that has recently been widely available. *UPDATE: MCV has received confirmation that the new price increases only apply to PlayStation formats.
