Parking a number?

Recommended Posts

My job is now allowing the use of work phones as personal phones as well. As a result, I'll be canceling my personal phone plan. However, I have had that personal cell number for over 15 years, and I'd rather not part with it.

Has anyone had experience with parking a cell number? I've searched around and found several services that claim to do so, however the websites look straight out of the 90s. It seems like a relatively inexpensive process. If so, does anyone have a provider they recommend?

It's called getting a cheap feature phone and paying for the cheapest plan your provider has, maybe even go prepaid

Cheapest and easiest, get the relevant compatible sim from any carrier prepared to port your number, and just throw the odd 10 (insert currency here) on it from time to time... OP, You can always port your number back if you go back to a contract
