i've created the boot disk and stuff but how do you update a bios in windows xp...?

put it in your floppy and reboot.

i did but it says to remove it then press any key to restart.

make sure you have the system set to boot a: and make sure you made the disk right.



Once I had to use a 98 boot disk then when it finished loading I put in the flash disk then I ran the flash.

Are you using ntfs ? Your boot settings are in the bios.

Get a 98or ME boot disk and startup the system, when it'd done loading put in the flash floppy and load up the flash.

Right Click On Your A: In My Computer, Click Format and Select "Create MS-DOS Startup Disk" This will make a Windows Me Version Boot Disk.
