IE6 Patch Help Needed

I tried installing the new IE6 patch that I downloaded directly from M$ (q316059.exe) but I ran into a snag. When I ran it a DOS window came up saying "Program too big to fit in memory", then it unloaded. I tried restarting but it didn't do any good. It can't be my memory because I have 512mb with 380mb free at the time, and I have 10gb free on my HD.

Anyone know what I should do about this?
