Please Help!??!?!??!?!?!?!

Recommended Posts

ok, I've had it...

I have 3 motherboards right in front of me and two towers with TWO battery backs, 1 in each.

I plug in the ATX plug from Tower 1 into all three mother boards and NO power.

I plug in the POWER from tower 2 into all THREE motherboards, and no power.

SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE??????!?!??!?!?!?! I even tested 3 plug outlets in my house and none work. Their is no way all three boards a fried when I used 2 earlier in the week and decided to test them when the actual motherboard i am working on wasn't powering up.

Any suggestions?

Mike

Is there a switch in the back of your power supply where the plug goes in. If there is. Is the Line pushed down.

If it is make sure that the cables are properly connected to your Motherboard. Positive with Positive negative with negative

if you have any Extra USB ports make sure there connected the right way.

Make sure you have the right ram etc.

Aight so you have a fairly new power case.

When I said Old Power Supply is the power supply that has a cable comming out of it and goes inthe front of the case and its the button you push to turn the computer on...

Your Power Supply needs your mother board to be connected to the case cables for it to even start.

If you just plug it in. Nothing will happen.

You need to connect the cases Power Switch to the motherboard

THe Power Led the Reset Led

Actually you really dont need to connect the led's just the Power.

The cable you need says Power SW on it.

not the Power LED

Just the Power SW

The Power LED is just for the light

But Make sure you put positive with positive and negative with negative

if you put them in backwards you **** the motherboard. lol kidding

if it doesnt turn on with the Power SW in 1 way flip it around
