Sleeper Veteran Posted February 19, 2002 Veteran Share Posted February 19, 2002 Anychance someone can help me help one of my mates out? This is the question How can APIPA IP's (APIPA IP address range (169.254.0.1 through 169.254.255.254) Take part on a network such as 195.106.150.254? Is it because they would both be the same subnet? Thanks :)
UKer
You'de need to use a router as they would all need to be on the same subnet if this is a home network I think. Info and links to resources on APIPA here .
Vlad
router/bridge/brouter, take your pick. and no, APIPA is 169.254.0.0/255.255.0.0, and no, they're not on the same subnet.
