Neowin Chat Room

I was noticing that the neowin chat room on the undernet irc server turned out to be a failure (was pretty popular at the beginning tho) and was wondering if ppl would like to go back into that room, go into a neowin msn chat room, or just not bother with chat at all...thanx :)

hmmm...for the ppl who dont know where to go, on mIRC http://www.mirc.com if u dont have it, type in /server toronto.on.ca.undernet.org and when it logs in, type /join #neowin

other servers include irc.undernet.org, us.undernet.org, montreal.qu.ca.undernet.org, amsterdam.nl.eu.undernet.org, auckland.nz.undernet.org, gateway1.undernet.org, atlanta.ga.us.undernet.org, and vancouver.bc.ca.undernet.org, if none of these servers work then i'm not sure :s

we need an *official* NeoWin chat. But I wonder where we could find that? *cough*

someone make a neowin channel on msn chat (n put a bot in it so that it wouldnt ever close down) n so everyone who uses windows ie 4-6 and netscape 4x could go on it n tough luck to mac/linux users/n6 users :s cuz they arent supported

I run a fairly small IRC network which is very stable, and has full services support. I'd be more than happy to run a #neowin channel on my network. Many of my users are frequent visitors here, included nemo who just had 2 articles posted on the main page (congrats nemo :D ).

I'd like one of the admins to get back to me on this if it was to become official, but you all can come and chat on it if you'd like, you're more than welcome.

The random server for the network is irc.lcirc.net, and I suppose #neowin would be the channel, heh. We'll see what happens.

Named "Neowin.net"...I doubt it will stay alive though...

it needs a bot...so i'll set someone up as host who knows how to do this if anyone comes in there soon...it wouldn't need a bot for long...just some neowin "advertisement" so to say! :)

someone needs to put that in their sig n we need bots in that room so it'll survive...like welcome bots n stuff, n bots to protect the room
