I was watching a couple movies, and realized that I could switch "angles." What exactly is the point? The movie doesn't seem any different no matter which angle I choose.

some people like watching movies in different angles. Some angles are better than others... DVDs want to be interactive so that's why they are included too, people like to interact with what they're watching

Angles are only available if the DVD content supports it. Most likely the DVD you are watching does not include scenes with different angles.

The point of it is this:

ON DVD's THAT SUPPORT THE FEATURE: You can watch different "angles" or different views of things. Examples:

Concerts from stage, backstage, arena, boxes
View live action/storyboards
Watch special effects in pre/post production

I think in certain films for example you can see car crashes from different angles, and yes some porn films support this feature too.

i've seen it on a couple of live concert DVD's

it gives it re-watchablity as you can watch the concert through with 1 camera angle, then the next time you wanna watch the DVD u can watch it through on the 2nd camera angle and see stuff that you havn't seen before :)
