I have noticed allot of cable tv descamblers and decoders for sale and even the cable guy tried selling me one. And I hear of H card hacks for DSS and comming soon on digital cable. MY question is would it not be easyer to block the companies reset commands? I mean all forms of pay T.V. uses addressable boxes and every now and then the compines send out "Bullits" to reset boxes to the right settings. So why not replicate the "reset" signal and then install and inline blocker? The signal would after all have to be on it's own channel or on a side band or be in frq range not used for the broadcast signal so have a little box to reset the rented coverter and then install and inline filter. Why buy these boxes for hundreds of dollars or buy digram kit sets of over 30 diagrams for 30 or 20 if downloaded? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
