wierd!!! php.ini's the same???

Question

not a question as such but very strange!!!

I had a problem with phpmyadmin, kept crashing the apache server?? I had php 4.1.1, mysql 3.23.43-nt, 1.3.22 apache...

so what i did was to reinstall all the above with the new versions, 4.1.1 already had, mysql 3.23.47-nt, 1.3.23 apache

Yeah, Windows based versions....

i put the php.ini a newer revision in the windows directory, renaming the old one to php.old, and then tested the new system, all seemed well enough until it hit my log in pages!

strange, I did check all in both files to see if everything is correct!

all i get in apache server logs is:

[sun Feb 10 22:03:55 2002] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Premature end of script headers: c:/php/php.exe

strange....i did try installing the cgi way for php and that but then php crashed, so i think that was my problem in the first place, cos i had the modules configured instead.....apache errored and not php.

the only way the get rid of the errors in php.exe is if i go back to my original php.ini file, and hey hey all is well now!

just a scratch of the head why both ini files are the same setup??????

anybody got any clues???
