toolbar bitmap problem

Recommended Posts

just rename the shell32.dll in system32/dllcache to shell32.dll.bak

its not needed..

the easy way but takes a while to do it is:

replace the bitmaps in shell32.dll and then save it as shll32.dll on your desktop, once done, restart ur box, and then go into safe mode.. after that, replace the shell32.dll in system32 with the one u saved on desktop earlier.. and then restart again.. done and dont forget to bring the towell as well :D

yea, the way aleni said to do it is by far the easiest and most gaurantee of it working. what i do instead of saving the new shell32.dll on my desktop i go ahead and save it in my system32 folder as shell32_new.dll and then restart in dos and switch the two by renaming them.

If you replaced the 204, 205, 214, and 215 (or some'n like that) than you need to Customize you toolbar to show BIG ICONs on small ones. I did that back then and it shows the default then I found out I need to show the big icons. If you want a small one, you can scroll down and there's icon for the small one. Don't know what it is but it's there.

Hope this help!
