question about .gif to .ico conversion

What can I use to do this?

I searched neowin.net forums for .gif to .ico with no luck

Perhaps what you could do is to open up the GIF file in a program like Photoshop, save it as a PNG file, then convert it to ICO using programs that convert PNGs to ICOs. Axalis Iconworkshop, on the other hand, allows for direct conversion from GIF to ICO.
