_sphinx_ Posted July 9, 2005 Share Posted July 9, 2005 I get this error when I play counter strike: source and half life 2: Material "engine/occlusionproxy" uses unknown shader "Occlusion" and I was told this was becaus eof bad GART, IDE or my nVidia drivers...So can someone please tell me any nVidia official driver released before the 77.72 that works well with the MX4000...The 77.72 casues me trouble....And can you tell me how to reinstall GART drivers.....And, since I'm gettin 6800 next month, what are the best GPU drivers for that Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tantawi Posted July 9, 2005 Share Posted July 9, 2005 For the MX, get one of the 5x.xx or 6x.xx series drivers of nvidia FTP ftp://download.nvidia.com, I heard they perform the best on those old cards. as for your new 6 series GPU, only consider the latest official drivers, that's what I recommend.
