How do i get styles XP installed?

i need some help with the a/m.

manage to change the text on the start button.

but can't get to use the styles created by others here.

HELP pls.

if you want to change the text on the start button do this, but first make sure you save a backup of the explorer.exe in a seperate folder, and maybe even on a floppy.

1.copy the explorer.exe from c:windows

to the c: drive

2.drop the explorer.exe onto reshack

3. go to string table 37 - 578, and delete the word start, but leave the "quotes"

replace start with whatever you want, or if you want it blank put empty spaces between them like this " " especially if you delete the flag.

4. close reshack saveing over the one you just modified.

5. now you have to copy the new explorer to the windows file, but you need to do it in safe mode, so reboot and tap F8 untill you are presented with a choice of boot options.

6.select safemode with command prompt, and logon as administrator, and when you see the cmd prompt type the following just as you see it.

7. copy c:explorer.exe

8. hit enter, and say yes then do it again like this.

9. copy explorer.exe c:windows

10. hit enter, and say yes. you are done now. hit ctrl+alt+del and reboot

****JUST BE SURE YOU MAKE A BACKUP OF THE ORIGINAL****

note if you want to change the text for the clasic start button

goto string table 38 - 595,

but thats not wat i asked for.

i already know how to change the text.

wat i need is the styles Xp as wat many ppl are talking abt here.

coz im unable to use the styles which i had downloaded eg. MAC OS X style, Luna and etc.

its not being displayed on my display properties.

what should i do?
