And how many windows do you have clutering up your desktop when you have lots of pages open? I dont hate people who like IE but I do know the only reason you like it (SO MUCH) is because youve let Microsoft ween you on it like I did. UKer Posted July 1, 2002 Share Posted July 1, 2002 Netscape was always better than Internet Explorer before version 3 but after that IE kicked all the other browsers off this planet IMO, haven't needed any other browser at all since I got IE 4 (despite the odd crash, was better than netscape locking your system though), now IE 6 doesn't crash on my system and renders everything without delay. I think it's a shame netscape went downhill so quick as in their heyday they were clearly king of the hill, IE looked slow and buggy, now how the tables have turned!! I think after a while mozilla will become a good browser, I just find it's rendering and widgets ugly and it takes forever to load. There isn't any difference on my machine in the speed of rendering pages between the two, IE just seems to do it more fluently and the end pages look better. Silvorgold Posted July 1, 2002 Share Posted July 1, 2002 netscrap 4 and ie are the WORST browsers ive ever used i try to stay away from netscape 4 at school (cuz its the default there) n use IE, but at home i try to stay away from IE as much as possible cuz its buggy as hell and slow, so i usually use mozilla, but right now mozilla wont work cuz of some stupid corruption in xp so i'm gonna have to reformat soon, so i'm using IE right now :( n it takes years for a page to load :( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
