[Release] Universal UXTheme Patcher v2.1

The purpose is to have the unattended install, updates, hotfixes (if needed), configuration, and third party security software all installed using one disc with no interaction. Getting closer. Third party security software has taken some time to get familiar with the command line switches for proper install using some batch file(s), and then the batch file has to pull a script to set the 3rd party prog up with the correct options. I found it intriguing at first, but now just want to have something that works.

Nlite includes an option to patch your uxtheme.dll and more options you might useful in creating your unattended disc

Thanks, worked perfectly.

Multi-patcher 4.0 (at the time I wasn't aware of 5.0) failed to patch a new version of XP w/ SP2 and all Feb. patches slipstreamed.

I was getting explorer.exe crashes everytime I opened a Windows Explorer window.

This worked great; and no Windows File Protection!

I've already installed UXtheme multipatcher 5.5, but have heard this may work better. Aside from doing an entire system restore or something, is there any way I can use this instead? Or can I just install this over UXtheme multipatcher 5.5.

Oh yeah, and can this, if "improperly installed" keep my computer from booting up? O___O And if I do a partial system restore, will uxtheme.dll go back to normal, XP factory settings?

Thanks!

Be nice if you could fix the link in the 1st post :(

Would it be possible to have your permission to distribute this patcher with my themes? :)

Thanks in advance

You'll have to get in touch with Flyakite for that. I saw the link was dead so I just hunted down a working link via google and posted it. This patch works effortlessly for XP.

    • OK so SearXNG is a meta search engine that you can install locally or use via a public instance. It scrapes other search engines which you choose and then sorts the results. Not as complicated as multiple relays
    • The only difference here is that you think you came up with these reasons. You didn't. These age old fearmongering lies (that were NEVER true) were funded by and the anger stoked by Putin through proxies like Farage (and later in the USA, Trump) and filtered down through the skinheads, Neonazis, etc. until it reached the uninformed, ignorant, and gullible -- never realizing they were being played for fools against their own best interests. Even now, despite all of the EVIDENCE proving that Brexit was a terrible mistake for ALL citizens of the UK and that its supporters were tricked by Putin's proxies into sabotaging their own nation, you're still here defending these well-known lies as if they were ever true. Not only are they not true. They NEVER were. So, when are you going to realize that you were lied to and actually get angry at the liars and charlatans who lied to you, instead of blaming the innocent people they lied to you about?

    • Ooooh! Two editorial from Paul Hill on the same day! Is it my birthday or something? 😉 Okay, let's see if I get it right. SearXNG develops a meta-search engine app. Individuals install it on their relays. Users connect to these relays to have their own identity-stripping meta-search engine instead of relying on DuckDuckGo. And some of these volunteers have listed their SearXNG instances on SearX.space. That was a lot of wrap my head around. I hope I haven't missed anything.
