I recently passed the Network+ course and I noticed it was very general in the terms of questions. Also they mention a few of the ancient networking technologies (BNC connectors, terminators etc). But most questions will have a simple answer - you just have to decipher the irritating way they phrase out the questions.

I bought the Exam Cram 2 (practice book and sample question book). They were so helpful with diagrams and excellent explanations. Link to the Amazon.co.uk site below:

Also - If you want some learning material, i could offer some ebooks - just drop me a pm :)

I havent done Comptia but I did my CCNA CCNP CCSP. I have a friend who did comtia and I guess he used TESTKING exam papers which has some 800 questions that have been asked till date. If you have time in your hands you could go through them before the exams.

P.M me for the links if you need free ones and if you are currently not in a position to buy your own copy.

    • Isn’t it so sweet Microsoft after so many years of neglect, they admit to these issues in Windows lately? Doesn’t this just make you wanna run out and meet them halfway to give them a warm hug only? Just gives us this warm fuzzy feeling thinking about it. /s
