Good hard wearing steering wheel needed

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Need a bit of advice.

I need to get a steering wheel (with pedals) for my son's PS2 which must be able to handle Gran Turismo 4.

The reason it needs to be hard wearing is because he is Autistic; he is a bit rough with his gear and he goes through hardware like no-ones business.

Appreciate any help and advice you chaps can provide.

TIA,

Bear

I would say go for a Logitech Momo, I have the PC version and its so solid, a great wheel with the usual high logitech build quality.

I'm pretty sure they do a PS2 version of the Momo...

Logitech just released a new steering wheel - top quality - pretty expensive tho

Logitech G25

The steering-wheel can rotate 900 degrees!

Thanks for the suggestions guys, it's most appreciated.

Logitech it is; I took him to the Logitech site and let him have a look. He liked the blue one and that was it, the blue one or nothing. (That's Autistic kids for you  ).

The 'blue one' turns out to be the Driving Force.

btw. Huleboeren, I'm glad he never saw your suggestion. Great steering wheel, but what a price tag!!!! :o :o

Thanks again for taking time out to help a chronic lurker, guys. :)
