driveragent reviews/opinions

Question

Has anyone used or know of anyone that has used and paid for the http://driveragent.com/ driver update tool?

I've seen it before and ave used the free scan to check things, but I have a couple people that WANT to purchase it. Not to sure it's worth it and have no experience with the company/tool.

Not usually to hip to these type programs myself.

Any response is appreciated.

Thanks

Hello,

I know this question is 7+ years old, however I think it's a good idea to answer it.....

I just gave it a try for fun and what I can say is STAY AWAY as it returns false results and only wants to get money from you.

I tried it on a c2d laptop running win7 64. I didn't spend much time with it but let me explain what I saw.....

First you download de application and execute it.... then it will scan your hardware along with driver versions.... then it will give you a report of the status of all your drivers for free.....

Then if you want to update a driver, there is a button to do it.... if you click on it, it brings you to a place where you have to spend money to go further.... this is where it stopped for me....

I did not spend the time to check every problem found on my laptop as 25% of the drivers were flagged as outdated despite the computer running very well. I mainly focused on 2 items from a major manufacturer. My integrated video adapter driver was flagged as up to date by driveragent but I found out on Intel
