beggari
i am trying to get the welcome message on my proftpd server on my mandrake 9.0 box to display. i know i need to have the following lines in my /etc/proftpd.conf file: # We want 'welcome.msg' displayed at login, and '.message' displayed # in each newly chdired directory. DisplayLogin welcome.msg DisplayFirstChdir .message but my question is, where do i put the welcome.msg file so that it will be displayed? thanks. :ninja:
zivan56
I would think either in the home directory for a user or in /etc/ , not sure though as I don't use that feature.
