dmd3x
Is there a way to initiate a Mandrake 9 install from a DOS boot disk? If not, how do I make a bootable Mandrake install floppy? My computer supports booting from a CD-ROM drive, but I have to put it in the second slower cd drive that I have, or it wont work (In Windows, the faster CD-ROM drive is drive F, and the slower one is drive E). I do not want to open up my computer to switch the cables. I was hoping that if I could start the install from within DOS, I could use the faster CD-ROM drive.
