MSN Messenger fails to start voice chat :( Even if I start a conversation and the other person accepts, it either fails to connect or connects with no sound for awhile then automatically disconnects.

Network setup

2 PCs connected together via Ethernet crossover cable. Host PC is using XP with UPnP enabled, other PC is using Win98SE.
Although both PCs do use a software firewall, MSN Messenger is given FULL permission.
Proxy software used is AnalogX Proxy.

Messenger setup on Win98SE machine

Messenger is set-up to connect via SOCKS V4 port 1080, which is fully supported by AnalogX Proxy.
