Maximum Error
I dont know about the rest of the technet/MSDN subscribers out there but I for one am really annoyed with the way Microsoft has handled the SP3 RTM. Have they not learnt from they way Vista SP1 was handled? We pay good money to get Microsoft products and service packs before the general public yet we were firstly let down with Vista and now we're being told that we wont get SP3 posted early and will get it quicker using the public method. What a slap in the face to the thousands of IT professionals and developers! How are we to prepare for this SP3? So can we have an article on the front page covering how badly Vista SP1 was handled and how badly SP3 is being handled? We need some way of getting in touch with Microsoft. All this kind of event does is put me off from renewing and other people off from even buying thier subscription in the first place!
trek
Isn't the point of having an MSDN subscription the ability to download pre-release code and build applications around it so that when the final code goes to RTM it will be compatible? By that time you should have completed the development cycle and would have no need to have access to the final build earlier than the general public. We need to know how the final SP3 is going to impact our systems and having payed for this (and recieved this in the past) why is thier such a change now? bunker
How much does it cost to be a subscriber?
Another Canuck
How much does it cost to be a subscriber? $349 for Direct, $599 for Single User. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/subscri...s/bb892756.aspx I'm still waiting for my subscription to activate, I ordered it on Saturday. This does suck though, I was definitely expecting to get things somewhat earlier.
