I just beat unreal 2 (took, a little over 10 hours i think,) and it was really good (pretty easy except the bosses,) but it is just such a stupid ending ... I was so disappointed when I finished it, not because it ended too soon, but just because of the lame story. Dunno this game could have been much better. Even the highly touted graphics don't really do it for me - I'm running a P4 1.8 laptop with a Geforce4 Go and 512 SDRAM, and I have to lower the settings so much that I'd take and prefer any Quake III engine game (or even the original) over Unreal II graphics-wise. nicedreams Posted February 12, 2003 Share Posted February 12, 2003 Wow guys. I guess I'm the only different one in here then. UNREAL II kicks ass. The game play was great and the story line was awsome. Just because it wasn't some happy ending doesn't mean that it sucks. The ending was great, but I wish they just didn't leave it at that. The ultimate weapon is the SH!T. If you remember to pick it up after the Kai monster gets killed finnaly then you will have some fun with it. I was using it on everyone and everything. That gun kicks soooo much @ss. It's much better than the BFG that's for sure. Giving you over 600 rounds of ammo for it also, I though the game was going to keep going. Anyways....I thought the story line and the game play where both great. The graphics where awsome also, just wish I had a NV30 or something to get a higher framerate with AA and AF on.
