Jiles
Seeing as Microsoft removed my last post about this, I though 'What the hey', let's do it again. Anywhose, for those of you that play CRPGS (not online ones), do you play for the story (and 'roleplay'), or do you prefer having Level 5000+ characters with +10000 Swords of Smiting? MxxCon
story since it's too easy to cheat in single play games.
Eccentric Fairy
Bah, I hate cheats. I rarely use them until I've finished the game at least once.

sanctified Veteran Posted March 12, 2003 Veteran Share Posted March 12, 2003 I prefer FPS/RPG games, thast why Deus Ex, Undying and System shock 2 are among the top 10 games in history (by gamespy, pc gamer and some...)
Jiles
^ I find the 2D (ish) Isometric view better for CRPG's myself. But that's just me. DX and SS2 are excellent games none the less. Why have people associated super powerful characters and weapons with cheating? Baldur's Gate 2:Throne of Bhaal had insanely power characters (both PC and NPC) and weapons, yet they could all be achieve by playing the game normally.
