i would REALLY REALLY REALLY like Tribes 2 for linux, it was readilly avaliable when Loki was still around (for those who havent woken up to the sad reality, Loki - one of the largest Linux game manufacturers (and game porters) have gone bankrupt and thus it is hard to find some of the better titles in their once supreme collection of ported games). But just as my luck has it, when i decided i wantedd to play games on linux, Loki went broke, and i cant find any games i want anymore, (i have looked on every loki distributor (listed on thier site) and cant find Tribes 2, i tried to Wine my windows copy which hasnt yet worked (still working on it)

so in short, i would like Tribes 2 for linux, if any1 has any idea where i can get it, plz tell me, it is one of my all time favorite games!!!

What is the linux version of Autocad?
With this thread being in "", I didn't see this post until now. There is no equivalent to AutoCAD in Linux, I am afraid. However, I have tried the free version of QCad, and it works fine for 2D work. As an engineer, I fully agree that having Autodesk support AutoCAD on Linux is a BIG item.
I'm looking for install CrossOffice on Ubuntu.. tried many times and fail :(
This is a technical problem. Best to post this in the regular support forum.

If this is purchased version, it comes with support from Codeweavers. If this is the free version without support, it still shouldn't be difficult. Perhaps someone with experience can help.

I would never use linux on my desktops/laptops/mediacenter, but on my server i would love to see linux.

But since i SUCK at linux, i would love some setupapp. like you find in windows server 2003/2008 when you log in the first time.

This probably exists, and I'm just ignorant?

Are you talking about setting up a user account? Or setting up services, like http, SMB filesharing and such?

A tool that some people use, especially on a remote-administered box, is webmin.

For a local box, the various distros often offer tools for just that. Red Hat / Fedora have their system-config-xxxxx apps that will present a GUI window to configure various aspects of the system.

The device features an AMOLED touchscreen display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 that should offer improved scratch resistance and durability. The Charge 6 is equipped with a range of sensors including an optical heart rate sensor, a 3-axis accelerometer, built-in GPS with GLONASS support, red and infrared sensors for SpO2 monitoring, a skin temperature sensor, an ambient light sensor, a vibration motor, NFC, and multipurpose electrical sensors compatible with the ECG and EDA Scan apps. Furthermore, Bluetooth provides wireless connectivity for syncing and communication with devices running Apple iOS 16.4 or later and Android 11.0 or later. The tracker stores up to 7 days of minute-by-minute activity data and retains daily activity totals for the previous 30 days. In terms of water resistance, the Fitbit Charge 6 has a 5 ATM rating that should make it suitable for swimming and water activities. The tracker operates in temperatures ranging from 14°F to 113°F and at altitudes of up to 28,000 feet. Moreover, the included Infinity band is made from a flexible silicone material and features a loop-and-peg fastening. The small band fits wrists measuring 5.1 to 6.7 inches, while the large band fits wrists measuring 6.7 to 8.3 inches. Both small and large bands are included in the box. When it comes to battery performance, the Fitbit Charge 6 should deliver up to 7 days of battery life under typical usage conditions. Features such as the Always-On Display, built-in GPS, and SpO2 monitoring increase power consumption and may require more frequent charging. The rechargeable lithium-polymer battery should take approximately two hours to charge from empty to full. • TeraCopy 4.0 Build 28 by Razvan Serea TeraCopy is a compact program designed to copy and move files at the maximum possible speed, also providing you with a lot of features. Copy files faster. TeraCopy uses dynamically adjusted buffers to reduce seek times. Asynchronous copy speeds up file transfer between two physical hard drives. Pause and resume transfers. Pause copy process at any time to free up system resources and continue with a single click. Error recovery. In case of copy error, TeraCopy will try several times and in the worse case just skips the file, not terminating the entire transfer. Interactive file list. TeraCopy shows failed file transfers and lets you fix the problem and recopy only problem files. Shell integration. TeraCopy can completely replace Explorer copy and move functions, allowing you work with files as usual. TeraCopy is free for non-commercial use only. For commercial use you need to buy a license. The paid version of the program includes the following features: Copy/move to your favorite folders. Save reports as HTML and CSV files. Select files with the same extension/folder. Remove the selected files from the copy queue. Features added since version 3.17: Enhanced speed graph. New multi-threaded copy engine. Support for copying to multiple targets. Queue system for managing multiple copy operations. Support for receiving files via the LocalSend protocol. TeraCopy entry in the modern Windows Explorer context menu. Integrated toolbar in the title bar. Why receive LocalSend transfers with TeraCopy? Handle file conflicts: Skip, overwrite, or rename files when a file with the same name already exists. LocalSend always creates another copy, which can waste time and disk space, especially when resuming an interrupted transfer. Filter unwanted files: Apply ignore lists or remove files manually before accepting a transfer, so unnecessary files are not downloaded. Better performance on fast networks: In tests over a 10 Gbps connection, TeraCopy received files several times faster than the standard LocalSend app on Windows. TeraCopy 4.0 Build 28 changelog: Fixed a bug where Overwrite behaved as Overwrite All during same-drive move operations. AdvancedInstaller fixed the installer’s security vulnerability: EXE Bootstrapper resolved the %appdata% location incorrectly for the System account.
