jimkraz
Depending where purchased, activation can take four or five days after purchase, I found this out last fathers day when one was bought for me from ASDA, check when purchased, it may be this is your problem
Technique
lol no no, not because it's expired. All obvious answers were out the window :) It was a stocking filler, o i guess just before Xmas. Anyway, i forgot i posted this here. It;s solved now though. Turns out, i just kept entering the code as it said on the card (yes i was entering AS IT SAID ON THE CARD - EXACTLY) and it wouldn't work. Kept trying and trying - wouldn't work. Shut down iTunes due to getting quite P'd off. Figured i'd give it one last shot, so re-opened itunes, gave it a shot, entered it EXACTLY like i did the countless times before & this time it worked. Stupid.
Technique
Come to think of it, i best get this found out before it's too late... on the gift voucher, it says it needs to be redeemed or whatever within a year or 2 of it being bought (can't remember now as i threw it once activated) Does this mean that once the money is on your account, it's on there until it's gone OR does it need to be used within a certain time? Brian M. Veteran Posted February 1, 2009 Veteran Share Posted February 1, 2009 It means that you have to assign the voucher to an iTunes account within the period - once it's on your account, it won't expire.
