Just thought it would be fun to check this. I'm quite sure most of you have a relation to these games. So let's hear it!

I loved the first one. Anyone know where to get a true port that works in Win2000?

They made a version of the original for Windows 3.1, so that should work fine in 2000. You could also use an emulator to run the Amiga version, or just load the original on a DOS startup disk.

Woohoo! Check out this Underdogs.org page - Lemmings for all. I think this is pretty much legal, it's full of software that's so old you can't buy anymore and publishers don't seem to mind these sites.

The Lemmings for Windows 95 one works perfectly in Win2000.

Yeah, The-Underdogs.org is my primary source for old games goodness. But as you're most likely aware from reading this forum, I'm currently trying to get more developers to officially OK things like this. DMA would most likely not object, since they just released GTA Classic. It's true folks, DMA Design and Rockstar North are one and the same.

And the Underdogs ppl are most careful not to put illegal files on their server. That's why they're still around.

Lemmings for Win95 does work nicely in any newer Windows version It also includes the Oh No! levels. But mind the Turbo button, it doesn't just speed up the game a set amount. It completely releases the speed sync so the game goes as fast as your CPU can handle (i.e don't activate on anything faster than a P133...). If you've set up your level nicely and just want to FFWD to the result screen, use it in any event.

And oh yeah, I'll definitely cast my vote on the first Lemmings game - spent countless hours on my Amiga with that one.
