Getting Freezer 7 Pro REV.2 to fit in GA-P55-UD4

This post is to help those that found the fan assembly to not fit due Gigabyte's heat sink being to close for GA-P55-UD4 with Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro REV.2.

As you can see the Freezer 7 Pro only just fits but the fan assembly has a skirting to go under and around the heat sink in order to clip on.

The way round this (before you put the heat sink on) that lets you chip the fan assembly on is to unscrew the Gigabyte name tag and slide it off.

Remover the blue cover which is stuck down with double sided tape so use a flat screwdriver.

Now install the heat sink and clip the fan assembly so that its one notch up on the top of the heat sink.

And there you go just fits....just
