I'm looking for a flash preloader to load and display arbitrary external swf files with a progress bar, where I can pass the path of the external swf file to it via FlashVars. I've searched around but most of what I find are some flash programming tutorials. since I have next to zero experience in flash programming, those are not very helpful. The only thing I find close to what I want is the Amara Flash Preloader, but it uses a "content.txt" file for input instead of FlashVars. So is there any such free (and preferably open-source) flash preloader out there? From what I gather from those flash tutorials, it seems it's a very easy thing, but somehow I just couldn't find it. Thanks.

so there's no such thing, or one have to make it oneself?

Check kirupa.com, it has a few tutorials on a flash preloader.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not looking for preloaders that needs to be put into each individual swf files, but something that can load arbitrary external swf files. And preferably a free one.
