Guest
It's pretty obvious what apps will be in the bundle, look at the little logos on the boxes. Flow is there.
Lilrich
That has changed their was only Ripit and one other earlier....
Cupcakes
I'd consider it a deal if you didn't get paralyzed apps. Majority of them aren't "full" and are only versions FOR Macheist's deal.

Some of the promotional stuff they give away for free are limited versions, but if you buy the bundle all the apps are full versions.
crazzyyfool
Says its available March 2nd with a countdown of fifteen minutes until March 3rd? Eh?
+jamesyfx Subscriber² Posted March 3, 2010 Subscriber² Share Posted March 3, 2010 I'm not fond of the MacHeist method... I'd prefer just straight up deals rather than some confusing scheme.
instant.human
huh? how can anyone not like macheist? did i miss something? i mean... this time alone its apps worth 250 bucks for 20... and theres charity involved. what confusing scheme are you talking about, james? im just asking, no offense here. its just that i always loved macheist bundles and for the ones i bought i always got legit serial numbers and full programs. at least i think so. ;)
Cupcakes
If you google around there are people that have a lot of problems with commission that the software developers get, what goes to charity and how much more MacHeist still makes for profit. That's one reason why I have a good portion of friends that don't buy from their bundles. For what it's worth, if the charity was the one reason you went with it, you can just donate on your own.. Don't need to buy something just because they're donating. Do it directly instead. Works out a bit better really :)
Quillz
It's pretty obvious what apps will be in the bundle, look at the little logos on the boxes. Flow is there. Flow was pretty cool until development seemingly died. I'm still waiting for a Transmit 4 release that will be up to Leopard/Snow Leopard standards. Dick Montage
I was waiting for this - then saw the apps and my only thought was "Hmmmmm, no thanks!"

EmpyreanUK
I'm a bit lost (I haven't heard of this before). It says "nanoBundle 2" -- what is this? Does it mean a different bundle will be released soon?

Does it mean a different bundle will be released soon? yeah, usually the main macheist event has quite a few apps on the give away and it usually retails for $49. MrFuji
It's not the *real* MacHeist 4 bundle for sure... Guess it's an appetizer for an upcoming bundle :) Anyways, I went ahead and bought it. Flow seems cool for ftp and if RapidWeaver gets unlocked, that would also be nice. Bummer though I already bought Tales of MI last year...
EmpyreanUK
Ah, that makes more sense then. Thanks! I'm considering buying this, as I'd planned to buy RipIt anyway. I was also intending to get Transmit, but this Flow program seems pretty interesting. I really like the idea of these 'Droplets'. Does anybody know how it compares to Transmit? Is the text editor a viable replacement, or alternative, to Textwrangler? Apart from these two apps, the rest would be chaff to me. When you download this bundle, does anybody know if it's one giant app that is installed, or are they individual (i.e. can you delete, or not even install, the stuff that you don't need/want)? Guest
Not the best selection of apps, but for $20 you can't really say no.
.KICK
I'm new to the whole Mac scene but I am guessing that these apps aren't worth buying for myself, just saw $20 and thought why not. I guess I'll look at what the apps do.
Elliott
I bought it for Monkey Island. RipIt's a nice piece of software though, and Clips is pretty cool. CoverScout might come in handy. The only three I have absolutely no use for are MacJournal, RapidWeaver, and Flow (because I'm a diehard Transmit fan, and Transmit 4 is going to blow our socks off). Still, very much worth the $20, or $17.95, apparently, if you've been a Heister.
PNWDweller
*Ahem* reviving a dead thread is a bad thing I know, but since this really is Macheist 4, can we make an exception? Macheist has started up again with a new heist. We are about 1 or 2 days probably before the 'games' begin but if you have an iPhone or iTouch, you can manipulate things on the screen already. (I don't have either so am out of luck).
dannyscheck
I am excited about this though i am new to the whole macheist concept. What are the apps in this new bundle? I installed their agent but i still can't figure out where i can see their new bundle. Any help would be awesome :)
