help with Some Multimedia Keys not working

Recommended Posts

I'm having a problem now with my multimedia keyboard

I'm not sure if this topic belongs in this section, if not, please let me know and I'll move it

so, the thing is that I use a multimedia keyboard

with keys for media playback, like Play/Pause, Stop, Next, Previous, Mute, Increase/Decrease Volume

the thing is that, all the keys work, only the ones for Increasing and Decreasing Volume, and Mute don't work

they used to work fine, but suddenly, I have noticed that they stopped working

the other ones, like play, next, previous, stop, work simply fine

What could cause this?

is there any setting that I have changed without noticing?

how can I make it work again?

thank you very much

some keyboards need a program for them to work which you can go to the manufacturerers website, also if you have a laptop and you want to use the special keys you may need to again use an app that allows them to work, i have an older laptop and in order for me to use any of the special keys i must have a certain app running or they won't work.

i haven't installed or uninstalled any software

just suddenly stopped working

but, besides from the manufacturer's website (they don't have any applications for this keyboard), is there any way to find other applications that would allow me to let those keys work?

thank you very much

    • The site is pretty sparse on features / tech specs. Can I plug it into a PC/hone/Switch via USB-C and use it as an external display? If so, what's the virtual resolution of the screen, the refresh rate, PPI of the image etc? Is the text crisp enough to use for coding at say 12pt? Is it good enough for playing dark games, like say Path of Exile 2? How about fast games like car racing games? Just how do they expect anyone to order this thing without giving out all this info?
