ventrox
I'm having a problem now with my multimedia keyboard I'm not sure if this topic belongs in this section, if not, please let me know and I'll move it so, the thing is that I use a multimedia keyboard with keys for media playback, like Play/Pause, Stop, Next, Previous, Mute, Increase/Decrease Volume the thing is that, all the keys work, only the ones for Increasing and Decreasing Volume, and Mute don't work they used to work fine, but suddenly, I have noticed that they stopped working the other ones, like play, next, previous, stop, work simply fine What could cause this? is there any setting that I have changed without noticing? how can I make it work again? thank you very much Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/885104-help-with-some-multimedia-keys-not-working/ Share on other sites
soldier1st
some keyboards need a program for them to work which you can go to the manufacturerers website, also if you have a laptop and you want to use the special keys you may need to again use an app that allows them to work, i have an older laptop and in order for me to use any of the special keys i must have a certain app running or they won't work. Guttu
Have you installed any program recently? Try removing that. Also you can run System file checker to scan and replace corrupted files.
