Veritas1 Posted March 24, 2010 Share Posted March 24, 2010 I have a pc running windows 7 connected directly to my cable modem. It is putting out an ADHOC signal through wifi and using Win7 ICS. I have another windows 7 pc that can connect to this adhoc network without a problem. The problem is my Snow Leopard Macbook sees the network, asks for the WPA2-personal password but then comes up with and error that only says "connection failed". I have tried connecting both when the second pc was and was not connected just in case there was interference. Please Help as this is my wifes laptop and she will give me hell if she cant connect to the interwebz Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Veritas1 Posted March 24, 2010 Author Share Posted March 24, 2010 Okay so I went in and reset the connection up using WEP instead of WPA and the macbook connects fine.
